What to Expect at Bethel…..
We at Bethel Apostolic Temple enjoy the freedom that the Spirit of God gives. At Bethel Apostolic Temple our purpose is to worship and praise the Almighty God. From the inside to the outside God is glorified. From Sunday School to Morning Worship God is magnified. The atmosphere is already set for US to expect to hear from Our Heavenly Father.
At Bethel Apostolic Temple, we're always excited to welcome new visitors. We hope you'll join us for a service, and we want to make your visit as comfortable as possible. Here's what you can expect when you come to our Sunday Morning Worship Service at 11:30 a.m.
Our church is located at 801 M S Couts Boulevard, and parking is located beside the church, across the street. If you have mobility restrictions or young children to carry, you may park in the grass beside the church on M S Couts Blvd.
Please don't worry about what you'll wear to church, for we truly believe people should come to God as they are. You don't need to dress up to get his approval--that comes through Jesus' sacrifice. We do try to look our best coming into the house of the Lord, because our God deserves our best in whatever we do. Once you walk in the doors, you'll see that the congregation has all types of people in all kinds of dress. While many people in the church wear ties, others are more casual.
When you walk in, you will see our greeters and Ushers and please introduce yourself. They're usually stationed at the sanctuary doors and/or vestibule, and they'll direct you to where everything is. They'll help you find the sanctuary entrance, rest rooms, Sunday school rooms, or a family place to tend to young children. If you have any questions about the service itself, the greeters or Ushers are able to provide helpful answers.
Our service is lively with upbeat music. There will be current gospel and Christian songs as well as timeless helms. We freely worship our God by standing, clapping, waving our hands, to name a few ways we praise. We reverence prayer and scripture by standing at those times of the service. We believe in tithing in addition to an offering. Tithes and offering are the choice of each individual in according to what you are led to give and the level of blessing you would like to achieve. There is absolutely no pressure to give money at Bethel.
Be sure to hang around after the service for fellowship and meet Pastor Cantrell and many other people in the church. We'd also love to get to know you so you're a familiar face the next time you come.
Please visit us at our service. “You Matter to God; You Matter to Bethel”!
May God Bless You!
